Professionally known as Triple M, Malcolm McChristian is a Colorado Springs producer, artist and songwriter whose career spans more than two decades across music, entertainment and media.
His work has taken him from Colorado Springs to Nashville and Los Angeles and back home, with experience spanning music production, songwriting, performance, DJing, audio engineering, talent development, stage management and media.
THE BEGINNING
Malcolm began performing at four years old, often appearing in local talent shows with Michael Jackson routines.
As a teenager, his focus shifted toward DJing and production. After repairing an old mixer he found behind a dumpster, he began developing the technical and creative skills that would shape his career.
By 14, he was DJing clubs, events and house parties while continuing to develop as a producer and songwriter. At 21, his growing involvement in music led to membership in The Recording Academy and its Producers & Engineers Wing.
His early creative life also included theatre, where he spent approximately six years as a stage manager, developing an appreciation for both the creative and technical sides of entertainment.
NASHVILLE
Malcolm moved to Nashville to develop his songwriting and expand his experience within the music industry.
He worked across recording, live performance, live sound, promotion and touring while continuing to write, produce and perform.
He also returned to his early interest in acting and theatre, appearing as an extra on ABC’s Nashville and in several CMT productions, along with other acting projects.
Nashville became an important chapter in his development as a multidisciplinary creative.
LOS ANGELES
In Los Angeles, Malcolm expanded into talent development and multidisciplinary arts. As a talent scout, he worked with independent creatives across music, visual art, film, fashion, photography, performance, beauty, crafts and technology.
The experience broadened his understanding of how creative disciplines intersect while strengthening his ability to recognize, develop and connect emerging talent.
He continued writing, producing, performing and collaborating with musicians throughout his time in Los Angeles.
BACK HOME
After years in Nashville and Los Angeles, Malcolm returned to Colorado Springs and began building the next chapter of his career from his home studio.
Today, the studio is where he produces and writes as Triple M, collaborates with artists and continues developing his sound across genres.
His work also extends into the local creative community through music, live events, artist collaboration and mentorship, including working with young creatives.
Colorado Springs is where Triple M is building what comes next.
THE MUSIC
As Triple M, Malcolm creates original music across hip-hop, jazz, soul, R&B, electronic, pop, lo-fi, house and cinematic styles.
The common thread isn’t a particular genre. It’s a lifelong curiosity about sound.
His independent catalog has reached listeners in more than 150 countries, earning international playlist support and press coverage.
